It is available in three models that include the basic S7, the S7 MaxV Plus and the S7 MaxV Ultra. Only the latter has an Empty Wash Fill Dock (or an alternative Auto-Empty Dock). These docks allow the robot to return to its base, empty the collected debris into a dust bag or reservoir, drain the dirty water tank, and wash its mopping pads.

Sensors on the S7 work in tandem to clean and avoid obstacles. It can identify flooring types and save the map of rooms and zones, and even detect levels of dirt. It also has the ability to plan and execute spot cleaning sessions. It did well in the standard tests, but could not match the iRobot Roomba j7+ during the carpet deep cleaning test.

You can program the S7 using the companion app to run a cleansing cycle according to your schedule. You can choose the cleaning mode, such as eco or automatic, and the day, week, or time. The i7 is also better-built and feels more durable and sturdy, has less maintenance requirements, is able to charge lower costs for recurring expenses, is faster to charge, and offers comparable battery performance, and comes with far more advanced automation features like no-go zones and the ability to choose certain rooms to be cleaned.

4. iRobot J7+

This robot vac/mop combo is a rarity as it does both jobs exceptionally efficiently. The iRobot Combo j7+ has all the features of its j7 counterpart, including self-emptying and LiDAR mapping but also includes additional features for vacuuming and mopping.
